Playing

Beat the Internet is free to play, provided as-is, and offered for entertainment. There are no cash prizes, no entry fees and no gambling of any kind.

Fair play

Scores are validated on our servers. Automated play, modified clients, replayed submissions or any other attempt to submit a score you did not genuinely achieve will have the score removed, and repeated attempts will have the player removed.

Scoring and the daily reset

Each apple is worth 10 points. Your highest verified score in a competition day is your ranked score. Days run from midnight to midnight UTC and completed days are archived as permanent results.

Usernames and conduct

Usernames must not be offensive, impersonate someone else or promote anything illegal. We may remove any username or message that breaks this.

Sponsorship

Sponsored placements are clearly labelled as sponsored and every sponsor is reviewed before appearing. Sponsorship never affects gameplay, scoring or rankings.
